In my life, I see beauty everywhere and in everyone. I am in constant creative motion, for beauty’s sake. Beauty heals, restores, redeems, gives life and promotes me to love and be loved over and over again.

Henri Nouwen says “Our glory is hidden in our pain, if we allow God to bring the gift of Himself in our experience of it”.

Revive The Crown was birthed out of my personal journey with pain. By allowing God in, He revived me in His love, until I was made beautiful again.

During my 30s and especially through my pregnancy and after the birth of my second child, two things triggered within my body. The first, I experienced nodular eczema where it literally looked like my skin was crawling off my legs. The second proved more traumatic, as I am a professional hairdresser for over 20 years, where great portions of my hair started to fall out. I was diagnosed with having alopecia, an autoimmune disease that attacks the hair follicle. In fact, I was on the way toward alopecia totalis, which means, complete hair loss over the entire body. I had lost my eyebrows and almost 90 percent of my hair before I began my turnaround journey into healing.

The medical world would only offer limiting solutions to the severity of my symptoms. This propelled me into the role as chief advocate for my own wellbeing. I allowed God into the pain of it and to direct me with His answers.

Revive The Crown was established through this journey of falling in love with the pure, holistic healthcare benefits of essential oils. Marrying my years of experience of hair, face and skin care, I began creating organic therapeutic-grade essential oil blends to promote my own hair regeneration and growth, as well as rejuvenate, revitalize and bring healing to my skin.

My heart fills daily with gratitude for the crown of beauty bestowed upon my life through this journey. Revive The Crown, essential oil products and blends for hair, body and soul is one such glory. The beauty of now, is being able to bring it to you fellow crown seekers.

I was blessed with an Irish upbringing, with wholesome food and a love for the outdoors and natural beauty. And, I’ve always had a fascination with anatomy, physiology, wellness and the outdoors.

Before moving to the states, I became a qualified aesthetician and body massage therapist in Ireland. I came to the States and qualified as a fitness and nutrition instructor in an effort to further quench my thirst for healthy wisdom. I put my management skills to good use as a project manager for a large IT company. During that time, I also worked for a company selling beauty products and doing massage therapy.

I retired from my project management career to raise my family, so I could focus on healthy natural ways to nourish my family physically, emotionally and spiritually. It was shortly after the birth of my twins in 2006 that I was introduced to the healing power of essential oils. I used them for lymph drainage massages on my children to prevent swollen lymph nodes and head congestion from becoming ear infections. I shared this practice and taught many mom’s how to do this massage on their children.

My knowledge and interest in nutrition, together with motherhood, led me to research the damage artificial food coloring, additives and preservatives in our food supply can do to our bodies.

I have raised my children to love the outdoors and respect nature. I have volunteered in Cub Scouts, Girls Scouts and Boy Scouts — all faith-based organizations focused on leadership, love of the outdoors and respect for God’s creation. In recent years, as all of my children have reached school age, I have felt God guiding me more and more toward the extensive use of natural household and self-care products and Essential oils that would allow me to have a natural based career while still being mom to my children. He spoke very clearly to me the day that Maggie reached out to me and asked me to join Revive The Crown. I knew God had brought me to exactly that moment in my journey. It was an answer to my search for a holistic, natural opportunity.

I started using Revive The Crown products on myself and my family. A dermatitis condition that I have had for over 25 years resulting in splitting skin and deep fissures during cold weather has completely cleared and this is the first winter that I have not experienced it, thanks to the use our products. I feel totally blessed to have received this opportunity and to be able to spread wellness in a natural way through the use of our products.
